Checking In
You may check in after 12:00pm on the first day of the month. Unless advised otherwise you will check in at the Front Desk of the Craigdarroch Residence Services Office..
When you check in you will:
- Make payment of first months rent;
- Provide documentation of kinship such as birth and marriage certificates;
- Sign your Family Housing Tenancy Agreement. You can view a sample Agreement (PDF);
- Arrange a check-in inspection appointment with a Residence Services staff member;
- Receive your keys.
Front desk staff will not issue unit keys before the first day of the month.

Checking Out
Notice of withdrawal from Family Housing must be received not later than 12:00pm on the last day of a calendar month to be effective not later than 12:00pm on the last day of the following calendar month.
Withdrawal forms can be printed off or picked up at the front desk in the Residence Services office.
When you check-out you will:
- Vacate your unit by 12:00 noon on the last day of your tenancy;
- Return your keys by 12:00 noon to the Front Desk of the Craigdarroch Residence Services Office;
- Clean the unit to a level that is satisfactory to a new tenant;
- Have your unit inspected by a Residence Services member.
Please Note:
- Late departures are charged $10 per hour past 12:00pm.
- Failure to return keys will result in a lock change charge being billed to your account.
- Any cleaning required by the Housing Department will be billed at $25 per hour.
- Any repairs required - such as painting walls- will be billed at current labour rates (i.e. painters @ $36-$40 / hour) plus material cost.
