During the summer prospective students and their families that reserve a campus tour will receive a special rate on overnight accommodation and have the opportunity to meet with a member of the residence life team.

Bed and Breakfast rates in dormitories are $30.00 per person and furnished quad units are available for only $120.00 per night. Rates are in conjunction with campus tours only and include all applicable taxes.

First Contact is a 3 day orientation program running from Saturday, September 4 – Monday, September 6, 2010 that is directed to first year students who will be living in residence.

The program includes:

• moving in a day earlier than the rest of the residents;
• Welcome BBQ;
• Jump Start Program which allows participants exclusive access to the Bookstore, ID Centre and Athletics and Recreation Services;
• Campus Tours;
• Residence Tours;
• Professional Hypnotist Show;
• Interactive and entertaining community building events!

All students living in residence need to attend their first floor meeting. This is an informative meeting that provides some insight to you about life in residence, the community standards, the services and programs available to everyone living in residence. This is also an opportunity to meet your Community Leader and the people you will be spending the next 4-8 months with! Information about where your meeting is, will be provided to you once you arrive on campus.
